Lehmann&Voss&Co. has now founded its own representative office in South Korea in the form of LEHVOSS Korea. The Hamburg-based company is thus adding an additional strategic component to its internationalization strategy.
With the newly founded representative office of LEHVOSS Korea, the specialist in high-performance compounds is aiming above all to provide an even better service for the electronics and automotive sector in South Korea and Korean transplants. Alongside China, Japan and Taiwan, South Korea is one of the core markets in Asia for these applications. Lehmann&Voss&Co. is thus aiming to participate in the long-term growth within one of the global development centres.
Lehmann&Voss&Co. has been supporting its plastics business in Asia since the beginning of 2014 from its base at LEHVOSS Shanghai and is now further reinforcing its presence in the region by establishing this office in South Korea. It was only in September 2014 when the Hamburg company acquired a majority holding in Performance Compounding in the USA.

Lehmann&Voss&Co., Hamburg, is a company in the chemicals sector and has been developing, producing and marketing chemical and mineral specialities for various industrial clients for more than 100 years. Founded in 1894 as a trading house, the owner-run company has evolved into a powerful global organization – with long-standing connections to prominent, mainly foreign suppliers and with own production sites.
LUVOCOM® high-performance compounds from the house of Lehmann&Voss&Co. extend the range of applications for plastics and ensure that the products produced from them in many industries are able to reliably fulfil their function, even when subject to stringent requirements – and this is a task that the company has been performing for more than 30 years. The compounds with exactly defined properties can be divided into eight product families: high-temperature resistant, carbon fibre reinforced, long fibre reinforced, electrically conductive, thermally conductive, tribologically modified, detectable and functional powders. They are based on practically all available thermoplastics and generally tailored to individual customer requirements.
